About the Artist

I am a Contemporary Realist Painter working in the classical tradition.  I believe people want to be moved and uplifted by art they can understand. I also feel they want to view artwork (and invest in artwork) that they can see for themselves took skill, time, dedication, thought and emotional investment by the artist.  I am endlessly inspired by the beauty found in nature and for the tried and true methods of the academic style of drawing and painting.  You can trace my artistic lineage in a direct line back to the Great Masters such as Jacques-Louis David and Leonardo da Vinci (see lineage).
